Experimental Assessment of Drop-in Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) in a Medium-Duty Diesel Engine for Low-Emission Marine Applications 2024 SAE Torino
The report investigates the effects of replacing conventional fossil-derived B7 diesel with Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO). The results show significant improvements in NOx, Soot and WTW CO2 emissions, with no impact on the engine power.
